HI All;
What value of Configuration Register we have to set in order to disable Break in CISCO ROUTER?

Nilesh
The normal setting of the config register to 0x2102 will disable the break key.
Note that disabling the break key deals with whether the break key is enabled or disabled during normal operation. Even with the control bit set to disable break, the break key still works during the first few seconds of bootup. This is to enable password recovery. There is a way to configure the router so that it will not do password recovery with the break key.

Hi,
Use the "No Service Password-Recovery":
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps5413/products_feature_guide09186a00802a1e76.html
The No Service Password-Recovery feature is a security enhancement that prevents anyone with console access from accessing the router configuration and clearing the password. It also prevents anyone from changing the configuration register values and accessing NVRAM.
