Cisco Desktop Administrator & CallManager Settings

When launching Cisco Desktop Administrator from the IPCC Server (v4.0) itself and selecting "Configure Systems" from the Setup menu with the cluster highlighted, the CAD Configuration Setup program starts (actually the PostInstall.exe utility from the C:\Program Files\Desktop\bin directory).

Within this utility there are Configuration Settings for CallManager, VoIP Network Device and Services IP Address. Under CallManager only our Publisher is specified (although we have a Subscriber) and IPCC was installed with the Publisher and Subscriber active. What are these CallManager settings used for?

IPCC registers its JTAPI CTI ports and RPs according to the Device Pool configuration, and this correctly fails over to the other CallManager when one is taken out of service.

1) Services IP address option can be used to disable CAD automatic updates.

2) VoIP Network Device option is used for binding the adapter.
