Hi,
I wanted to know the max number of OSPF routes (in a normal area) that can be handled without any issues in a Cisco 7500 and a Cisco 10K router.
Thanks.

Hi,
The maximum number of routes is a function of memory there is no fixed defined number, plus always keep in mind that as the number of routes increase this affects the convergence time.

I dont think there is any hard limit on the number of OSPF routes support.
The concern would be more about how many routers you would be running in any one given area. Normally this is limited to 40-60 routers
