Auto Attendant problem (Help!!!!!!)

The Atlanta office has about 5 auto attendants groups that are programed the same way. The lines were tested by Avaya and our technical staff and the group lines are setup to transfer:

Third parties are calling the general group phone number (e.g. (555) 555-1212 ) . The greeting states "press 2 for Bill Smith" but when you press 2, it rings a few times and then goes back to the same menu where it says "press 2 for Bill Smith"! returns back to the main greeting instead of the voicemail box of that individual.

They have two other options in the CMS/VMS, (call-answer & guest greeting) and they both transfer to the voicemail box without ringing to the phone.

Per conference call this morning **Recommendations from AVAYA to check the callmgr switch for possible change (transfer return interval no answer & coverage - increase to 5). Location was not found, pending vendor assistance. We think this might be a Voice Mail problem not a Call Manager configuration issues since Call Manager just forwards the call. Anyone have any ideas or confirmations?
