ASA 5520 VPN Support

Hi,

From the datasheet for the ASA5520 VPN model, I know it supports 750 concurrent connections.

Can anyone tell me, does the device have a limit on how many separate connections (i.e. users) can be made to the device?

e.g. can I have 7,000 users registered to connect to a 5520, as long as only a max of 750 are connecting concurrently?

Thanks

Yes, thats exactly what would happen. But my suggestion would be not to touch that 750 limit that's put up on the data sheet have a limit of probably around 600-675. You probably could get into performance related issues.
