I'm testing UCCX 4.0(5) HA in a lab with a single CCM Publisher 4.1(3)sr2. The failover between Master and Standby servers appears to
be working as designed, and the state changes are reflected in the CAD pop-up messages.
However, sometimes following a failover (or more often a forced failover to reinstate the original Master and Standby roles) an agent
can't go into a Ready state (the CAD message: "Cannot go to the Ready state when the phone is out of service. Other State changes are possible" appears). If the phone is forced off-hook, then this is reflected in the CAD and then the agent can go into a Ready state.
Has anyone seen this before, and if so, is there anything which can be done to make the failover more transparent? Why might the agent not be able to go into a Ready state directly? Obviously, the phone is associated with the RMJTAPI user, as it wouldn't work at all, and the phone's state is reflected in CAD.
