Reg: City Code

Unanswered Question

Hi Guys,

We have a office in china and the code for the city is 021. ChinaNetcomm has annouced that if anyone wants to make a call in the city it should only have 8 numbers. Right now when the user in china office dials out say 61609999, the cisco ip phone will show on the screen the number dialed as 02161609999. Could anyone please tell me how to change it. I have gone the whole router setup but could not find any translation rules etc which is doing this. For exmaple the chine office has H323 gateway which will talk to our call manager in australia. Pls find below the configuration of the H323 router:

translation-rule 2

Rule 0 ^. 0

!

!

translation-rule 1

Rule 0 ^6160 41

!

!

translation-rule 3

Rule 0 ^41 6160

interface Serial0/3/0:15

description PSTN China Netcomm +86216160XXXX-XXXX

no ip address

isdn switch-type primary-net5

isdn incoming-voice voice

isdn send-alerting

isdn bchan-number-order ascending

isdn sending-complete

no cdp enable

voice-port 0/3/0:15

translate calling 2

translate called 1

echo-cancel coverage 48

cptone CN

dial-peer voice 101 pots

destination-pattern 0T

translate-outgoing calling 3

incoming called-number 0...

direct-inward-dial

port 0/3/0:15

Could someone please help me. Do I have to look in call manager. I dont think so because the local calls are forwarded to the PSTN. If I am wrong please let me know where should I find this in the call manager.

Tks

I have this problem too.

You say that Cisco IP Phone only dials 61609999 to reach a local number right?

Dial-peer 101 its 0T as destination pattern.

So please run a debug h225 asn1 and debug voice ccapi to see how many digits CCM is forwarding to GW.

Check also the Route Pattern being used to see if its prefix any digits.

Thanks
