Telnet access steps:
step1:Identify single host/subnet that can have telnet access.
#telnet local-ip [mask] [if-name]
cmd: telnet 10.1.1.24 255.255.255.255 inside
step2: configure telnet password
cmd: #password telnetpassword
step3:set duration how long telnet session can be idle
cmd: #telnet timeout 15
SSH Access Steps:
step1: configure firewall hostname
cmd #hostname pixfw
step2: configure the domain for security
cmd #domain-name xyz.com
step3:generate firewall RSA key pair
cmd #ca generate rsa key 1024
step4:save the key pari
cmd #ca save all
step5:identify the host/network access the security device
cmd:
#ssh ip_address [net-mask] [interface_name]
#ssh 10.1.1.24 255.255.255.255 inside
step6:user to perform local authentication
cmd #password example-password
step7:ssh timeout number
cmd #ssh timeout number
