pls do not change any step's order, you may end up losing ur config.

It will be better at step 3 to copy your start-up config(You must be knowing how to copy the config from hyperterminal to notepad)

You can just copy the output just as u copy from a DOS window.

or

(1)click on Start-->Capture text

(2)Notedown the file path

(3)Click ok

(4)give " sh sta"

(5)move to next page using key

(6)perform step 5 till u end the config.Just like u are viewing the config.

(7)open the said file using notepad. You will see the config there.
