My PC seems to be blocking all connections after I removed the VPN client.

I am an IT pro, and I installed the VPN client for one of my client's sites in order to test the VPN. After it was working well, I removed the (VPN Client Win IS 4.6), from my PC. Since then however, my network interfaces (wireless or wired) connect, get IP adresses Gateway, DNS etc, but usually I cannot ping either inside the LAN or the internet, by name or address. The IE does not find any sites. My Windows firewall is turned off, and there is no other firewall software. I have tried this on a couple of differnt LNs with the same result. Can someone tell me what the problem might be?

Thank you.

On your run prompt enter services.msc. You should get the services screen. Look for the service Cisco Systems Inc VPN Service. Right click on that service. Click on properties. First stop the service and then on the startup type disable it.

Hopefull this should solve your problem.
