Unable to configure dial-peer

Dear all,

Was wondering whether anyone can advice me on this. I currently have a 3640 router and the IOS is 12.4 (13b) and i am unable to configure the voip dial-peer as it says my command could not be recognise. When i try to configure the pots dial-peer, it is fine until i write mem. The error msg align-fatal will appear and the router will then be reloaded.

Any advice on this?

As Naryan correctly probed the IOS feature set/version could make a difference out here..

Found out what the problem is. The IOS i was using doesn't support gateway function. Thanks anyway.
