Reg: Any test command available on the router

Unanswered Question
May 20th, 2007

We have got several offices in different countries. I am able to find out the calling number if the call is forwarded from the H323 router in the branch office to the local PSTN by using debug ISDN Q931 command. My question is is there any test command that I can use to place a call from the router to the local PSTN. Right now there is no one in one of our new branch office to place a call to the local PSTN and as such I am unable to find out the outgoing number. Ofcourse I can look at the translation rule but I just want to make sure what the outgoing number is.

I have this problem too.

Hi there,

you can try the:

"isdn test call interface BRIK/L XXXXXXXXXX"

Hope that helps.

I've used "csim start " but I'm not sure how long that call stays up.

"csim start" requires that you have already configured the appropriate dial-peer. What I suggested doesn't. Plus you test your ISDN card and/or line.
