Question in ref to Redundant gateways for cisco callmanager

We currently have a cluster of a ccm (publisher and subscriber) using a 2811 as a gateway to pstn.

Well..we want to create a redundant solution so technically if we have a 2811 acting as a gateway to the pstn.

can we create a dual gateway redundancy using 2 3845 identically configured. so if for a or b reason one of the 3845 fails the other 3845 kicks in to process the call. if this possible?

You can have to Active GWs and simply list the second one either in the same Route Group using Top Down algorithm or seperate Route Group, and list both in Route List. This way if one is down the next one will be used for outboud calls.

Obviosly for inboud calls you will need to work with the Telco provider to hunt to the other circuits when the primary are down.
