I deleted a subscriber from Unity and then added her back. A few minutes later her subsriber account disappeared and I cannot re-Import it. Her Exchange mailbox is intact; her AD account is intact; but she is NOT in Unity (I ran DBWalker to make sure) and she does not show up when I try to Import an existing Exchange user, no matter if I search by Lname, Fname, or alias.
The background: A new subscriber was having problems entering her phone pwd (found out later that it was due to another problem with the 7960 not respecting the Disable "Auto Line Select" so she was actually entering the pwd on another person's account . . . but that's another issue). So I
In any event, in quick succession I deleted her from Unity and added her back. I could see attributing the cause of the problem to a replication consequence (we have six DCs). But how do I fix this without deleting her AD account and/or Exchange mailbox and re-creating them?

my educated guess in this situation is the ad/exchange account still has Unity properties and that is the reason you can't see them in the list when you try to import. If they already have Unity properties then Unity will think that account is a Unity subsciber somewhere in your network.
To remove these properties without disturbing ad/exchange, use this the Remove Subcriber Properties from AD tool.

Watch the video and read the help file.
Be sure to wait for replication throughout the site before you try to import.
