IDS Specialist to IPS Specialist

As you can read in this page:

If you click on Cisco IDS Specialist you will be redirect to the new Cisco IPS

I know that the Career Certifications Tracking System notify when a CQS will expire but not when is going to be retired.

My questions are:

Why CISCO didn't notify that my Cisco IDS Specialist will be retired?

if both IDSS-CQS and IPSS-CQS are based the same box (4200 Appliance). Why you don't renew my IDSS-CQS to the new IPS-CQS like the others that I have (VPN y Firewall)?

Or you should notify previous the retirement and provide a process that

permit that the actual IDSS-CQS become IPSS-CQS (eq. pass a single exam

instead of two)

The Firewall and the VPN Exams have more changes than the IDS. In the IDSS-CQS case the difference is that you change the name but again both,IDS and IPS, are based in the same hardware box (4200).

The Firewall and VPN exams are now covering the new ASA and this is a major change compare with the IDS exam. However you renew my FWS-CQS and VPNS-CQS but not the IDSS-CQS.
