We would like to activate the do not disturb feature on our callmanager 4.1 we have serveral 7040's and 7060's

Cisco IP Manager Assistant (Cisco IPMA) provides call-routing capabilities and other features that can help managers and assistants handle phone calls more effectively.
I strongly recommend you through complete documentation (although its a pain going thru 30+ page document )before you implement it whether you are using a wizard or not

Yeah I will have to read this doc and its entirity..although its asking for my cco information, i am entering my info and its not taking it..Now the question is once i run the wizard will this affect my current ccm configuration?...or its something extra?...will the sequence of my current extensions will changed?

Looks like you are planning to run the wizard first (if its a production server ...I would refrain from doing it it might not break anything however production server is not for experiments ..( it will create partiton and CSS and other stuff )

yes..I will have to implement a lab server for this particular request i guess i can have the .tar file from bars uploaded into the lab server and basically clone a publisher in order to replicate our current ccm config. i thank you very much for your help as well your time.

you will have to activate IPMA to have the DND feature. Please see the documentation
