Hi,

I have two cisco routers,on both the routers a 2Mbps internet link is terminated from different service provider.

How to configure and provide load sharing accross 2 links and failover if one of the link is down.

Hello,

There are two ways:

1. Have you applied for your own Public IP addresses. PI = Provider Independent Addresse. This is the only way that you can achieve full redundancy and load balancing based on prefix.

When you are using two different ISP's you will also get your own AS number.

2. Another way is to implement PBR (policy based routing " to have few of the traffic use one ISP and another traffic use the other ISP.

Hi,

Beside Amit's suggestion, if you are talking about 2 routers, you'll have to either use 2 different default gateways and divide your LAN into 2 portion each using one of the routers, or you can do HSRP or further MHSRP.
