Hi,

I have a router using 10+ VPNs and need to monitor when each one goes down. There was an experimental MIB : enterprises.9.10.62.1.2.3.1.1.8.7.82.111.117.116.101.114.66

The values 0 = done and 2 = up

but the versions dont seem to have this. Can anyone help?

hi gareth.

Could you please tell me what type of router, and what IOS version is running on it?

Also, I think the MIB locator might be useful to you:

HTH,

-Joe

Hi Joe

IOS is 12.3(11r)T2 and its a 3845 Router

Thanks

Gareth

Hi Gareth.

This mib should have what you're looking for:

CISCO-IPSEC-FLOW-MONITOR-MIB

This is the MIB object that shows the # of tunnels:

cikeGlobalActiveTunnels OBJECT-TYPE

SYNTAX Gauge32

MAX-ACCESS read-only

STATUS current

DESCRIPTION

"The number of currently active IPsec Phase-1 IKE Tunnels."

::= { cikeGlobalStats 1 }

http://ftp.cisco.com/pub/mibs/v2/CISCO-IPSEC-FLOW-MONITOR-MIB.my

Using the MIB Locator tool, which you can find here:

http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/MIBS/servlet/index

you should see that this MIB is supported on the 3845.

HTH,

-Joe
