Truncating Numbers

Hi there,

We have a problem with our phones in that when dialling an internal phone number using an STD code it will drop the last 2 digits and not dial the destination.

For example:

If you dial 65861234 the number will dial no problem but if you dial 0265861234 it will only dial 02658612 dropping off the last 2 digits.

External phone numbers seem to work no problem, it only seem to be doing this to registered numbers in the system.

Any assistance appreciated.

Seems that you may have some overlaps, perhaps a translation pattern that matches only 8 digits, such as XXXXXXXX. I suggest using Dialed Number Analyzer to analyze your dial plan.

We have used the dial analyzer and it is telling us that the call should work, any other suggestions on what to look for?
