Path selection due to Wan failure

HI,

In an H323 enviroment you configure 2 dial peers, (one voip and one pots)with the same destination-pattern but different preference to have the gateway

to do a path selection if a WAN failure arise.

How can I have the same functionality in a MGCP enviroment? Do I have to use the AAR functionality to reroute calls through PSTN instead paketnetwork or is there another way to do this?

hi,

u can define all ur gateways (including pstn, voip) in different route groups with priority in selection list, then include those route groups in route list again in priority order list.
