Hi, using the Cisco feature tool set, I see that the respective image below does support "IP Routing". Does that mean that BGP and OSPF is supported in this 3550 switch-image? I didn't see BGP listed there and I will need to configure BGP and possibly OSPF as well.

Switch model number:WS-C3550-24-SMI

current image:

Hi Friend,

You are having SMI switch which provides basic ip routing capability like support of static routes and routing protocol like RIP.

But if you want all advance routing functionality you can upgrade this switch with EMI image.

EMI image will support OSPF,BGP as well as EIGRP.

Have a look at this link
