We have a public and private network. The private which my question pertains to is a class A (10.x.x.x) and we have 2 classful subnets (10.1.2.x) and (10.1.1.x). one of the networks is management for the servers and one is for the management of the switches. we want to have the networks on seperate vlans so they dont communicate with each other. However, we purchased a cisco cat express 500G. You can create vlans in it but you cant assign ip addresses to those vlans. I set up the server vlan as vlan 2 and switch vlan as vlan 3 but they both i still see traffic from both when connected to one vlan. Does anyone have any experience working with the cat express 500G? The first diagram is the layout beofore and the second is the layout after.

I have this problem too.
