New BSCI equipment requirements

Hi All,

I am looking at the suggested lab setup and wondering how important it really is to have 2811 routers?

Is there any major disadvantage to say using 2600 series instead? My setup would be the same topology etc - just different model router. What would be the minimum hardware series for the routers that would be worthwhile to use?

The main reason is due to the cost of the equipment, even on auction!

Hi Cameron,

No, there is no enormous difference in having your lab with 2800 or 2600 series router, just use the same feature set needed in your lab, and go ahead, i am still using 2600 in my lab.

Good luck :)
