CSA MC issue

Hi,

Actually i installed CSA MC 5.1 softawre on a server and after istalling it successfully , i can ping all other agents but i cannot access the internet on the CSA MC server.Also the following message appears on the system tray :

an attempt to access a network resource was prevented.

so, what can i do????

Mohamed,

Place your CSA agent on the server in test mode and try again. After installation the agent is placed in the 'CSA MC Systems' group, which is extremely restrictive. You'll want to assess how much access you want that system to have. But, placing that group into test mode will alleviate your issues for the time being.

The CSAMC is not allowed to be a client for pretty much everything on port 80 except windows updates.

The rule blocking it on 5.2 is called:

"Web browsers resident on CSA MC systems - strongly limited connectivity"

You'll need to either add an exception for web browsing or keep it locked down.
