How to exclude Option 51 from DHCP discover/request message on a Cisco 800

Is it possible to configure Cisco 800 series router so that it does not include DHCP Option 51 (lease time) in its dhcp discover / request message? If yes, then what configuration is required?

Hi,


if your 800 is a dhcp client, no problems, because "A default lease time is not included in the DHCPDISCOVER messages sent by the client. The client accepts the lease time that the DHCP server sends."
