I have a Pix 515 running v7.2 and neighboring OSPF with an IOS Router.
I'd like to prevent the IOS router from injecting any more routes than intended by placing a "distribute list in" to filter IN bound routes on the Pix. (I don't have the ability to filter the outbound routes on the IOS router).
So on the Pix I don't see distribute-list as a valid OSPF command. Is there some other command or workaround that will provide the equivalent functionality?
TIA,
JPS

Hi,
Try this:
area x filter-list prefix dummy in
prefix-list dummy permit 1.1.2.0/24
Hope it helps, rate if does
