I am trying to edit existing inventory jobs that were created by someone else.

when I go to RME/Job Management, I cannot edit the jobs.

How do I get to where the job was created to edit the settings?

What is the specific class of job? It may be that you have to delete the current job, and recreate it.

you are right J,

Thanks, I found it earlier.

it looks like everything is working much better now. The old jobs are failing, but that looks like about it now.

I created a new job and ran it immidiately for a test and it worked fine.

The only thing is that the switches are still showing up in Campus Manager as the lowest VLAN ip address for a device name, rather than the device name created in Common Services.

I can live with it, but it is an irritant.

The collections are working now on all of the devices.

You mentioned in an earlier post that there could be polling of invalid vlans causing the authentication errors.

How do I correct that if it is the problem?

Are you still seeing the AUTHFAIL errors? If so, a sniffer trace is still required to see exactly what is being polled. Then a solution can be devised.
