Hi,
Is it possible to configure a cisco router to forward http traffic out of only one interface and another type of traffic lets say SMTP through another interface and fall back in case either interface fails. Some links or suggestions on this would be helpful

Hi
You can do this using policy based routing config in your router.
Do classify the traffic based on the port numbers using extended access list.
Once you are done with the classification process you can start creating policies to forward your traffic based on your requirement..
