Etherchannel Catalyst 4006 and stacking 3750

Hello,

i tryed to configure a etherchannel between a Catalyst 4006 CATOS 7.3 and a 2-stacked 3750 switch. I used 2 GB FX Ports.

I uses LACP with mode actice.

The ports did not build the channel.

Can there be a general problem with this hardware/software combination ?

I am not sure catos version 7.3 supported LACP I would verify that first. If not use use PAGP instead .

CatOS 7.3 supports Lacp mode for ether-channels. Please see the config guide for the same.

You have to make sure that your port configs on all the ports in an etherchannel has to be same. Configs regarding speed/duplex,STP,trunking feature all have to be exactly same on all the ports.

Hello,

i forgot to mention that i was using cross stack Etherchannel. I think the problem is that the C 4006 is using PSTP and the C3750 is configured with STP.

Can this be the issue ?
