I wanna connect XMediusFAX fax server with Cisco 2801 gateway with vic2-2bri. When I send fax from outside fax server receive it (with problems, it's slow). But when I try to send fax from XMediusFAX router match dialpeer, bri goes up and then down. Fax server report that he couldn't establish lind with voip gateway. This is configuration:

voice service voip

fax protocol t38 ls-redundancy 0 hs-redundancy 0 fallback cisco

interface BRI0/3/0

no ip address

isdn switch-type basic-net3

isdn point-to-point-setup

isdn incoming-voice voice

dial-peer voice 100 pots

preference 5

destination-pattern 0T

direct-inward-dial

port 0/3/0

!

dial-peer voice 200 voip

preference 1

destination-pattern 348800

session target ipv4:10.1.1.224

dtmf-relay h245-signal

codec g711ulaw

fax rate 14400

fax protocol t38 ls-redundancy 0 hs-redundancy 0 fallback cisco

no vad

!

no dial-peer outbound status-check pots

What can be a problem?

hello,

it is actually quite strange that the server can receive fax, because your BRI should be configure network side. Please see:

http://cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk652/tk653/technologies_configuration_example09186a008010ef6c.shtml

note: you can omit the command "line-power", however, it should not make a difference.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!

I will try explain the situation:

Faxserver (10.1.1.224) --> (FEth) Router --> ISDN BRI --> PSTN
