OER restart after interface bounces?

Sorry if the answer is obvious and I've missed it-is OER supposed to restart after an external interface drops and comes back up? My scenario:

Cisco2811 12.4(11)T2 IPADVSVS

Master and Border process on same router

External interface 1 = MFR

External interface 2 = GigE0/1

This is a new site and Verizon is still mucking with the circuits. They dropped the 2xT1 briefly today and OER MC goes inactive and does not come back up until I do a shut/no shut on the master process.

Hello,

OER process will go inactive as soon as there aren't at least 2 up external interfaces anymore. And this is quite normal. If there is only one available external interface no choice of outgoing interface is possible ;)

So the master process goes inactive.

In that case the traditional routing take over.

But as soon as a second (oer external configured) interface comes back up, the oer master process should come back active automatically.

If not you should check oer master border communication exchanges.. with the debug oer master commands.

Hope this will help
