2960G-24TC trunked with IBM BladeChassis Cisco Gbe Module

Hi,

I'm new to Cisco and switches and have a basic (dumb) question about the 2960G-24TC switch. I have an IBM blade chassis with a Cisco 4 port Gbe module and would like to know it the 2960 can be setup to 'trunk' two Gig network ports to this module... i.e. does the 2960 have an OS that can be configured?

It sure does run an OS called IOS and you can configure dot1q trunk between Cisco and IBM. This link should guide you with the configuration part.

The 2960 is just a more modern version of the blade center switch which is based on a 2950. They both have the same capabilities such as trunking and etherchannel.
