CME IP Phone "FILE NOT FOUND:distinctiv"

CME: 3.3

Every time I reboot the IP Phone 7960, at the bottom of screen show "FILE NOT FOUND:distinctiv", but phones are working ok.

Any reason why does that??

Hi,

The phones are looking for "distinctivereinglist.xml" that just like ringlist.xml defines custom rings. You can can alias this file to the ringlist you already have with the "tftp-server" command, and the phones will stop complaining.

You need that file in flash memory

1) Check if you have that file on flash mem:

dir flash:

if not :

Copy the file from tftp to flash then set the command tftp in global config like this:

tftp-server flash:DistinctiveRingList.xml

then reboot and thats all
