My 851 has a dynamic IP, and I use DynDns. Is there a way to setup remote management of this router using SDM?

Yes:
Router(config)# ip http server
Router(config)# ip http secure-server
Router(config)# ip http authentication local
Router(config)# username cisco password cisco
https://x.x.x.x (dyndns address)

Thanks, Bjornarsb, however I still can't seem to connect. Are there firewall rules that must be applied to permit certain types of traffic?

Are you able to ping dyndns adr?
telnet ?
Check access-list on you router !
sh ip interface.
