Obtain latest VPN Client and IOS

Hi, currently we haveusers using Cisco VPN client 3.6 and I'd like to roll out the latest version 4.x.(?) CAn this be downloaded from Cisco, is it free etc.

Also I'd like maybe to upgrade the PIX 515 from 6.3 to latest version 7.x(?). Wher can this be obtained from?

Hi Marty,

you need a maintenance contract (aka smartnet) to be able to download software from cisco.

Very little can be downloaded without one.

Note the 7.x PIX upgrade will require a memory upgrade too.

Ask your cisco reseller about it or contact some online store.

but yes assuming you have smart net. yes its all free and can be done very quickly.

here is the link to the 2000/xp/vista client software. all you need to do is log in with your username password
