Hello,

Is there a way to keep the handset active while switching the speaker on on a 7971G-GE phone ?

Thank you

Patrick

If I understand you correctly you want the speaker and the handset to be active (send and receive voice) at the same time.

This cannot be done.

But if you want two people to monitor the same call at the same time try using a head set and hand set together.

You're right, the point is that my customer wanted to be able to speak in the handset for better quality and allow other people around to listen to the discussion. I saw that some IP phones are able to have multiple audio devices active. If it is not possible, then we will live without.

Thank you for you reply
