upgrade CCM from 3.3(5) to 4.2(3)

Hi all,

i have server with CCM 3.3(5) and O/S 2000.2.7, i would like to take a backup data for it and restore this data in another server with win 2000.4.3a and CCM 3.3(5) then after that i will upgrade it to CCM 4.2(3).

does this process will successed.
