Regarding a bad block number error in 3560

Hi all,

Can anyone check this error messages which i am getting in 3560 Switch while intilizing the flash in Recovery mode?

The system has been interrupted, or encountered an error during initializion of the flash filesystem. The following

commands will initialize the flash filesystem, and finish loading the operating system software:

flash_init

load_helper

boot

Senthil,

The flash error you're getting is a physical

problem on the Flash itself.

Try formatting the flash " format flash:" and then try initializing the flash using

flash_init

load-helper

If that works then you are good to go, Otherwiese go ahead and get an RMA for the 3560 switch as it has a bad flash hardware.
