Can't hear from cisco 7960 Phone

I'm using a cisco 7960 ip phone. I can receive incoming call and can make outgoing call. The problem is I can't hear the other party but the other party can hear me.

I have this problem too.

Usually a one way conversation is an IP routing problem or something stopping IP frames - in this case between the IP phone and the gateway.

Can you ping the phone from the gateway? can you give a little more information regarding the problem

This sounds like a one way audio issue. Is the problem with one phone only or multiple users are experiencing the problem.

Is the one way audio on-net or off-net?

If on-net can you ping the IP Phones both ways. We need a little bit more information

MGCP or H323 gateway, was working before, etc
