UCCE 7.0 - IBM MQ (aka MQ Series)

Hello,

our customer demands us to send/receive information from UCCE 7.0 to MQ (or MQSeries).

Does anyone have any idea how we could achieve this?

Hi,

You could try two options, but I think that they are complex:

- Use and Application Gateway to communicate with MQ Series.

- Use java with Cisco IP/IVR to communicate with MQ Series (if it were possible).

I think that it is easy to say, but quite difficult to do it.

Well, yes, actually, MQ does not work like an SQL lookup, we should create new Java classes and stuff if we decide to go the IVR way.

Application Gateway is not an option here, I guess, would be too complicated to build up a completely new system...

One more option that's similar to the IP IVR option - use CVP and build the CVP VXML application with a custom Java class to talk to MQ Series.
