CCM 5.1 Attendant Console - getting started

I have created the ac application user and the device authentication application user. The usernames match the corresponding fields in the AC service parameters. Both users are in the Call Park Monitoring, Enabled, and Allow Control of all Devices CTI groups. I have associated phones and hunt pilot with both application users. I still cannot get an AC console to take control of a line which is associated. What else could I be missing?

Is the Pilot point (also now shows up as a CTI route point) registered to Call manager. Until you get this working, you wont have AC properly be able take control. Please try restarting TCD and CTI manager services.

The pilot point is registered. I do not find a TCD service. Only CTI manager.

Sorry. Forgot you were running 5.1. Restart Attendant Console service.

Same thing. "Initialization of call control failed. Retrying..."

you need to follow the configuration guide.

you need to edit the user management as well.

I've been through the guides and have the same issue. Did you ever get yours resolved?

Try this

1. The "ac" user needed to be a member of:

* Standard CTI Enabled users group

* Standard CTI Allow Call Park Monitoring group

* Standard CTI Allow Control Of All Devices

2. "ACDeviceAuthenticationUser" should have the phones associated to

it

3. "Allow Control of Device from CTI" needed to be checked against

the

line of the receptionist's phone, as well as against the device.

4. Check DNS resolution for Callmanager name from the client PC where

you have AC installed.

Please check here for more details:

The most common reason for getting this error is the phone you are

trying to control is not associated with the AC user in the directory.

I am having the same issue. Been thru all the guides and am getting the same error. Did you get this working?

mine was a dns issue. I had names for the calmanagers. THe AC picked this up and was trying to refer to them by name. I fixed this where only IP addresses are learned, reinstalled AC and it began working.
