DHCP w/PPPoOA and Default gateway

I have an ADSL connection in our Barbados office. I have an ADSL router in bridge mode terminating the ADSL/PPPoA connection. I then plug my FA4 of my Cisco 871 into the modem and receive a DHCP address. Problem is that the default gateway is on a different subnet than my DHCP address and thus will not work.

Plugging in a laptop works fine. Any help would be real great!

Hello,

this should not happen.

Please post show ip interface and show ip route. Change some byte but not everything so we can understand which addresses are in different subnets, etc.

As temporary workaround, try configuring a static default route pointing to the address that you know to be correct.
