How to set DHCP client configuration in Cisco Switch 4006

I already setup my Catalyst 4006 with two vlan which is VLAN1 and VLAN224. We have two subnet of IP Address which is 172.14.176.X and 172.14.224.X. But when the ip address 172.14.176.X is fully utilize so how how we auto assign the client into aour DHCP server to get 172.14.224.X ip adress?

Connection Sample:

Router -->> Switch 3560 -->> Switch 4006

Please advise.

Hi

U will not be able to assign the ip address from the second pool as it entirely different subnet.U may need to reduce u r mask in the scope in order to accomodate more hosts in a vlan.

As the last reply you cant do that, the only thing you can do is to change the vlan of the port :)
