Bandwidth Allocation

Hi,

can anyone help me in specifying the router model number which does the bandwidth allocation to different project teams i.e, i want the share the bandwidth i receive from the ISP among different project teams depending on priority basis

Prasanna,

What do you mean by bandwidth allocation for different project teams? Do you have multiple teams residing in different subnets and you want to allocate the portion of ISP bacnwidth to each team. If yes, then you can achieve the same using the QOS and applying CBWFQ or LLQ quqeing on the router.

In addition to Amit's comments i would suggest looking at CAR (rate limit) with acl attached to it..
