Anyone seen this or experienced this before.
The equipment is a Cisco 6509-E switch running sup-bootdisk:s72033-entservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF6.bin code.
We have dual SUP720-3B's and 3x WS-X6748-GE-TX linecards.
We had a failure of the standby SUP720 which took down only one of the linecards. Linecard showed status as "PwrDown"
Is this a case of:
1. The SUP720-3B simply failed and requires replacement, as does the linecard it took down with it? OR
2. Is there something else going on here.
The failed SUP720 and linecarad was removed and reseated with no luck.
