Hi all, when we talk about e1 connection, is this the hardware type? and can we use ppp, frame relay, mpls etc over this ?

also what is the max speed of e1 ?

Hi carl

E1 connection is a physical media to connect both locations in wide area and I think we can use ppp as a encapsulation protocol, the E1 speed is 2mbps and T1 speed is 1.48.
