I am trying to configure ACS to authorize tacacs+ for our new ACS32 Avocent cyclades terminal server switch. I keep getting authorization failed with service denied...not sure how to proceed. Has anyone done this successfully?

Hi,
I guess you have,
"config security authentication tacplusraccess yes" for TACACS+ authorization,
Have you tried enabling the "raccess" service?
Interface Configuration > TACACS+ (Cisco IOS)> under "New Services" put a check mark, and under "Service" type,
raccess
And Submit,
Then under Group that you have your user,
under group check "raccess" and "Custom attributes"
And in the box type, for example,
port1 = LAB2/ttyS2
port2 = 192.168.0.1/ttyS1
port3 = CAS/ttyS1
port4 = 172.32.20.10/ttyS6
port5 = LAB1/ttyS7
port6 = Knuth/ttyS16
Submit + Restart.
Thats all I could get from guide from google.
Hope it helps,
Prem
