I have tried to do an xmodem and copy a different version of the ios and get teh same thing. Is this something I can fix or is it a hardware issue? The switch was working for about a week before it was down and this is what happened after a reboot of it. I am thinking it is hardware but was hoping someone could help me fix it.
Thanks

Looks like it's a hardware failure.

Hi,
The POST failed, thus this is a physical problem, accordingly can you confirm which port turns amber according to this document:

It is acutally the last 3 LEDs of the 48 port switch that light up when the switch has failed. I beleive they are a greenish yellow color. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the replys

Does anyone know if this is fixable or is the switch a total loss? Any ideas on how much it would cost to repair , if possable?
Thanks

Hi, this is a hardware failure on the box. This will not work. Please open a TAC case and get the replacement for the unit.

Is there a way to buy support for this so I can open a tac case and get this replaced? I bought this on ebay to study and now I am down and out. Any ideas of how much it cost for the support?
Thanks
