Howdy,
For some reason, I now get password authentication failure with the ssh2 server. Username & pasword allow me in with ASDM. SSH used to work last week.
6 Jun 11 2007 10:58:41 315011 172.20.199.199 SSH session from [snip] disconnected by SSH server, reason: "Internal error" (0x00)
Any ideas?
Mike

Mike,
Just do the following.
conf t
crypto key zero rsa
crypto key generate rsa modulus 1024
And make sure you have ssh access enabled
sh run | in ssh --> this command will give you the output of the IP address and the interface for which SSH is enabled. Make sure that the IP address you are trying to ssh from, is on this list.
Let me know.
Cheers,
Gilbert

Hi and thanks Gilbert.
Turns out a "cow-orker" disabled aaa/ssh as a gag. Should have clued in quicker I guess. Oh well!
Cheers,

I have the same issue, reseting the key does not solve the problem, I can resolve this, by setting the ssh version to 1.
ssh version 1
