the ata is connected to a CME. the analog phone connected to this ata does recieve calls, but it can't make calls (no dial tones..).

Do i need to work on the ATA configuration or the CME? and how?

Hi

You have to register the ATA (if it's not auto reg)then assign it, css, part, dir number

Which image are you using on the ATA ?

Let's tell u what i did:

I did all the configuration needed for an ATA in the IP-PBX (Cisco 2821).

It seems that the ATA and the CME are talking. When i make a call from any IP phone to the ATA, it works-you hear the analog phone ringing, but i'm not able to make a call from the analog phone that is connected to the ATA.. Any help?

Is your Cisco ATA 186

running SIP or SCCP firmware?
